Green Day released ‘Boulevard Of Broken Dreams’ on November 29th as the second single to be taken from their all-conquering new album ‘American Idiot’.
‘Boulevard Of Broken Dreams’ is a pivotal moment in the intricately detailed ‘American Idiot’ concept, vividly portraying an anguished sense of alienation with one of Green Day’s most powerful and tender moments to date. ‘Boulevard Of Broken Dreams’ follows the release of the ‘American Idiot’ single, which entered the charts at #3 and proved to be Green Day’s biggest UK hit to date. ‘American Idiot’ (the album) went straight to the top of the charts and has now sold over 2-million copies worldwide.
January 2005 will see the commencement of Green Day’s first UK tour in over two years. Billie Joe, Mike and Tre will play the following venues:
